Hedley were approached by the customer to refurbish an outdated power unit assembly, however our hydraulic engineers looked at the specification and established it was not cost effective to refurbish this HPU and designed a more efficient replacement that would keep up with the ever-improving technology.  Moreover, the new power pack conforms to the latest regulations, for example, the electric motor incorporated within the new power pack is the latest IE3 efficient, which also saves on energy consumption. 

We have supplied parts from well-known manufacturer’s, such as Parker Hannifin, which makes it easier to provide warranty for the products and easier to locate new parts for any future maintenance purposes. So overall the Hedley solution was more cost effective, efficient and sustainable. We designed, built and commissioned the Hydraulic power unit assembly, with a full functional test as per circuit and pressure tested to 240 bar.
