We are happy to announce the latest additions to our Hedley team!
David joins us from a hydraulic engineering background as Works and Operations Manager in Wakefield. He will be looking after our production department and managing our team of service and workshop engineers. He is motivated to provide excellent customer service. Outside of the workplace Dave is interested in Football, Rugby and Cricket.
Darren joins us from a hydraulic engineering background. He enjoys going to the gym and volunteering. He is a motivated and passionate Sales Engineer. Based out of Wakefield.
Jonathan joins us as Senior Hose and Sales Engineer, based out of our Gateshead Depot. Jonathan is a remote-control petrol car enthusiast. And a Newcastle United fan!
Thomas enjoys Marshall Arts and is training to be an Army Medic. He is in his fourth year of his apprenticeship and joins us as an Apprentice Hydraulic fitter, with experience in the oil industry and manufacturing.
Dawn is a Published Author and enjoys army bootcamp exercise classes and boxing. Joins us as a Sales & Business Development Engineer and she serves as an important point of contact for clients.
Matthew joins us from the food industry. He enjoys watching football and hiking. He joins our works team as the driver.

Apprenticeships at Hedley Hydraulics
Apprenticeships are great and it's a great way to grow your own talent! Our newest recruit is Bobby Kendrick, a mechanical apprentice! He’s gaining some work experience with Hedley Hydraulics before he enrolls with the AMRC in April!
National Fluid Power Center Exhibition
We had a great day at the National Fluid Power Center exhibition! There were companies exhibiting from the world of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Applied Electronics and Control. Big thanks to NFPC for hosting!
We are proud to announce we have successfully completed our ISO Audit, no minor or major observations noted, and we are recertified for another 3 year period!
New staff at Hedley Hydraulics
A new design engineer Aaron has joined us from MSCM a Subsea Company in High Wickham, in the Oil and Gas Industry and has 12 years experience in engineering.
A new Fitter Steve has joined us from Pegler, a component manufacturer and also joining us in the workshop is Lee as a welder, having previously worked with us as a sub-contractor.
Jules has returned from Maternity leave and has moved from the Purchasing Department to Marketing.

Ryan started with Hedley Hydraulics in Gateshead as an apprentice sales and warehouse person. We wish Ryan all the best as he embarks on his new career.
Jules leaves us for a well-earned rest before baby number two is born, the Hedley baby boomers continue, there is something in the water!

Kevin starts at our Gateshead branch as Depot and Business development manager, bringing a wealth of knowledge form the industry.

We have updated our office and trade counter area in Gateshead to improve the trade counter and offices, having dedicated meeting room, office and canteen facilities improves the location for customers and staff alike.

Gateshead Depot New Test Rig
The Gateshead depot received a new hose and component test rig, dedicated facilities to be able to pressure check components prior to completing work on customer components, while hoses can be pressure checked prior to being used, ensuring no leaks and when asked for hoses can be tested at our facility.
Wakefield Workshops New Test Equipment Provided
The Wakefield workshops have taken receipt of some additional test equipment, pressure and flow Senso Control and ICount particle analysers supplied by Parker Hannifin. With this new and improved hydraulic test equipment we are able to provide sound checks using state of the art equipment.
Hedley Baby Boomers
Hedley Hydraulics must have something in the water as a baby boom seems to be upon us!
With two babies born in Gateshead, two in Wakefield and two more to go before the end of the year…..well done to all involved!
Stores Carousel Storage Area
We are delighted to announce the purchase of two new electronic storage carousels for the main warehouse store. Each carousel is capable of storing hundreds of parts of all sizes, making the storage, pick and distribution of parts to the market as effective, speedy and efficient as possible.
These electronic indexed machines allow Hedley to maintain integrity and cleanliness, also maximise the space in the facility before parts are picked and packed for delivery to customers.
Looking after your needs
You have access to our knowledgeable personnel and workshop, and we offer a FREE delivery service locally. We also provide a 24/7 Call Out service that comes to you to repair or replace your machine, we carry an extensive stock of hydraulic hose and fittings to enable us to replace your damaged hoses.
