Hedley Hydraulics part of the R&G Fluid Power Group, are a quality driven business accredited with ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 standards. We are looking to build our sales team and are looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our existing team, based at our Head Office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Ideally the role requires an individual with experience or related sector knowledge in industrial or hydraulic components, however this is not essential as training will be provided. Being one of the sales team with the department, teamwork will play an important part within the business. You will be comfortable working in an environment that allows you room for understanding the technical hydraulic aspects of the role, within a dynamic sales team. Role

• The role of Internal Sales will involve a sales and results orientated individual, who will be proactive, take responsibility for providing excellent levels of customer service for both internal and external customers.
• Carrying out duties including, quoting customers, converting quotes to orders, placing orders, generating new leads and customers to increase overall sales.
• The role is varied essentially liaising with internal team members, suppliers and customers to ensure Hedley fulfil its sales targets whilst maintaining excellent service levels.
• Assist in developing detailed quotations for hydraulic product enquiries.
• Attend and support with client meetings, working closely with other departments within the company
• Liaising with our production team on a daily basis.
• We operate across a number of industry sectors, e.g. Flood Defence, Energy & Renewables, Oil &Gas, Machine Tool, Food Processing and Steel Production.

Requirements:

• Experience within engineering or manufacturing background preferred
• Willingness to develop and learn on the job
• Experience with all aspects of Internal Sales (Enquiries, Quotations, Pricing, Communications, Customer Services)
• Good written and verbal communication skills and be a team player

Salary Banding: £25,000 - £30,000
